A charming treat on one of the sweetest streets in Charleston. Valentina is a dear and is often painting on location amid the wondrous colors of the Italian pottery she and her husband have brought to Charleston!

Wonderful owners! Beautiful fine Italian ceramics! A must go to & shop at this store in Charleston,SC.This store was opened by an Italian family who moved permanently to Charleston after a trip to Charleston as tourists. We wandered into this wonderful shop on our last day in Charleston & were Delighted! The owners, Valentina and Marco, have opened a shop filled with handmade ceramic treasures from their native Sicily (They won an immigration lottery to come to the US from Palermo!) which are both gorgeous and surprisingly fairly priced. We chatted with Marco while indulging our gift-buying skills. They shipped it all home to NYC and our friends and relatives will be thrilled with our Southern surprises- Sicily is as southern as you can get in Italy! Everything arrived within a week of our return and in perfect condition. Try to stop in and browse. You will be surprised and delighted! Be sure to read the story: Don't mess with a Sicilian girl to get the flavor of the Sicilian version of the south. Having visited Italy over a dozen times, we put this on our don't miss list for Charleston. Too bad they don't have a Trattoria attached!
