This is a beautiful park with an AMAZING sunset view! If you're in Lake Charles, pay this area a visit! The ducks are friendly, and people enjoy fishing here as well.

What a great park! Beautiful to walk along the water... bring a meal if you'd like lots of spots to eat. Playground is amazing, even I was jealous I wanted to play & I'm in my 50's! Bathrooms near playground & a Marina too. Great spot for fishing too! So many photo opportunities and a great way to get a little excise.

Has a nice board walk area along the lake, lots of ducks, piers to fish from, picnic tables and lots of trees.

We enjoyed their military memorial with a Tank, Helicopter, Soldier and Memorial to the 5 Branches of the military. Bord Du Lac Park has a Splash Pad which would be nice in the summer. There are lot of nice monuments like the Flying Geese, Clock and Sailor. There's a good play area for kids. There's a great view of the Bridge on I-10. It seems pretty well maintained. In late November, they had already put up Christmas decorations. Bord Du Lac Park is a nice place to stop for a break from driving

Great place to stroll. Even better if you are a kite lover - bring your own or just stroll by and watch the pros. Always an enchanting place to visit.
