tripadvisorIt is a very moving experience to visit this elegant yet simple memorial. We were just passing by when my friend decided to stop and show it to me. It did need a little TLC but with the high temps lately in Lincoln it is understandable. It is a place I will stop at again when I visit Lincoln.
MoreThis was an unexpected attraction in Lincoln, NE for sure and there’s not a lot to it, just a few outdoor things in a corner of a very large cemetery, but it’s moving nonetheless
MoreI visited with a group of 29 high school students. These were my cast members for a Holocaust remembrance play, AND THEN THEY CAME FOR ME:Remembering the World of Anne Frank at Lincoln Southwest HS. It was beautifully designed, created, and maintained. A must visit for all young people. In today’s society we need to learn from the past so when people say, “It couldn’t happen here.” We know that the German people said the same thing. Silence = acceptance. May we never forget.
MoreThe Holocaust memorial is worth seeing if you can stand to visit a graveyard. It was worthwhile in my eyes as this memorial properly gives tribute to those who lost their lives during this horrible ordeal.
MoreVery nice memorial. Well done and well kept. A hidden gem. Worth the search. Stop and get a map to make it easier to find.
