Wes was a great tour guide, he knows his history and was friendly. He told us a lot about the lake and even took some great pictures of us with our phone. Its a must do when you are down there.

This is a very beautiful nature attraction. This place is located in East Texas near Karnack and Marshall,Texas. It is a nature based trip and it is a very historical place. Bonnie and Clyde (notorious bank robbers) hid out in this lake. This lake is a scene in quite a few Disney Movies. This area is beautiful and has beautiful lake front homes valued around the upper six figures. You can take a riverboat tour which cost about $25.00/ per person or contact Jack through the Marshall, Texas' City Commissioner,Gloria Moon and arrange for a private tour at a reasonable group rate. Jack is very knowledgeable the lake and its history. This lake extends into Louisiana. The lake's depth range from 5 -14 ft. Waters sports are allowed. The restaurant onsite is known for its great fish dinners. The servings are large and everything is delicious. I can't wait just to go again for the fish dinner. The meals are reasonably priced as well...$$. I love the tour and will definitely do it again. Also this area is near where Lady Bird Johnson, former First Lady grew up and lived. You will see her birthsite home on the way to the lake tour.
