I attended a launch party for a new Event Planning Business at Space Gallery. Although the neighborhood seemed a bit rough and parking is tight, the Space Gallery is a lovely venue. Dapper, the event planning company, had many vendors set up through out the space and each one seemed to have plenty of room to move and take care of attendees. The acoustics are a bit tough if one would decide to have loud music here. When a loud band was playing...no talking or listening was really possible. Lovely spot with a lot of potential!

I visited this venue as a wedding guest. It is located in a rougher area of Denver, reportedly an art district, where graffiti tags and burglar bars on windows abound. The Space Gallery itself invites speculation as to whether it is a converted warehouse, for example, or large vehicle service bay; even a massive garage door suitable for a big rig is still there. The exterior and interior are immaculate but spare. The art on the walls is pricey and multimedia in nature. Taste is subjective; the pieces for sale for over $5,000 looked to me as if they'd been hastily assembled by elementary school students on hallucinogens. The wedding was held within, and there was ample space for a large group of guests. Cocktail hour and buffet-style dinner service took place on the patio outside. Most guests seemed pleased with the choice of venue, but I had traveled 2,000 miles for this event and thought: We are just a few miles from Downtown Denver, but based on the scenery this may as well be in Cleveland, away from the lake.

We went here as part of a tour and a bit disappointed. Nice open space and using this venue for your wedding, party, etc. would be a good choice but as a museum the number of pieces of art work hanging was sparse. Bathrooms and water fountain are available.

We had our company holiday party here. What a great space! And lots of fun art to enjoy while being there. Convenient. Easy to find. Easy accessible.

We attended a wedding here a few weeks ago. It was a beautiful warm Friday night and inside the gallery, you knew it! We found the air conditioner spot, it was that or sit outside. It is a beautiful space for a wedding and reception. The art is great for conversation starters. Plenty of room for tables and dancing. Not sure if the bar staff were provided by the gallery or hired separately by the bride and groom but they sure could have used a bar twice the size and 2 more bartenders.
