My wife and I were happy for the short time that we spent here. Perhaps a couple of hours. The street seems authentically Cuban enough to be an experience. I believe most people we saw are actual locals and biz owners. We got some authentic foods. Our favorite part was drinking Cuban coffee at a small shop called La Colada Gourmet. We sat at the bar and had engaging, enjoyable conversation with the man making the drinks and other staff. One of the best coffee drinks we've ever had! Besides walking the street, we also visited the memorial park and took photos with the sites and various rooster statues along the street.
