The seats are comfortable and the ushers are helpful. The rest rooms are down a flight of stairs.I can't comment on the concessions.Early in the day of the show we attended, the marquee showed the incorrect date for the one night show (the previous day). There are many nearby dinner options.

I've been in this venue lots of times, was there a few weeks ago to see the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. The reconstruction is A-1, is a great atmosphere, very comfortable seating, plenty of parking--and it's free. Several restaurants nearby. Definitely a gem for Mesa County!!

This is truly the best deal in town. Enjoy dinner downtown on Tuesday evening and then take your receipt to the Avalon and get in free. Our group of women had the best time and the theater was full!! The theater is well kept and clean and the employees are friendly. Venues very and movies are not always first run. You will always have a good time!

I have the opportunity to attend two diffferent concerts at the Avalon. The venue is always good and tickets affordable. The seats are priced at various prices depending on where you want to be seated. Seats on the balcony are very reasonably priced and quite comfortable with good sight lines for most of the stage.

We drove to Grand Junction for a show at the Avalon Theatre. It did not disappoint. It is a quaint theatre & has a nice atmosphere. The location of the bathrooms was a bit odd (basement), but otherwise it was really nice. The security took a while to process everyone, so I would suggest getting to the show early.
