Excellence, creativity, diversity, and joy are a few words that best describe teaching and learning at the Eastman Community Music School. Supportive, experienced faculty and an encouraging environment are characteristic of all our activities: private and group lessons, small and large ensembles, and a wide array of classes. We welcome and provide musical opportunities for families with young children, music career-bound students, and adults and senior citizens looking to enrich their life through music. I invite you to come and experience the vibrancy of our campus, learn and share your love of music with others, and perform in world-renowned recital halls. Over 90 years of continuous contribution to Rochester's culture, and generations of successful students, are testimony to our commitment to enrich community life through music. Give your children the everlasting gift of music. Challenge yourself to become a better musician. Make friends and make music!
