tripadvisorI went here to see Proof and loved it. The theater is small--seven rows of seats--but the production was very professional and I want to go back to see more plays. Two thumbs up on the acting. This is a fun evening out. There's a little beverage and snack bar in the lobby that's open before and after the show. I would plan to have dinner somewhere nearby. There are a lot of restaurants in the neighborhood. Definitely worth a visit!
MoreWe attended an evening program of local teen artists performing their various solos and group musical numbers. We were very impressed by the talent. The theater contains a small stage with seating for 86 plus spaces for wheelchairs. There is an elevator in the complex. There are no obstructed seats and the farthest is seven rows from the stage. The theater hosts a number of plays throughout the year as well as local artists included in their regular, children's and improv performances. There are classes and special events such as the one we attended. There are restaurants close by to round out your evening.
MoreSmall, intimate theater. Schedules plays for children. Wine and snack foods available. Has added a second venue.
MoreAs a Mothers' Day outing, I took my mother, sister & niece to see Pinkalicious at the 1:00 performance. The theater is on the 2nd level of the Redmond Town Center so there is very easy access, lots of parking, and food available. It is a small theater so arrive early if you want to sit in the front row, and kids can also sit on the carpet right at the edge of the stage. The theater director introduced the show and was immediately overwhelmed by little girls raising their hands - not necessarily for questions either, some just had something to say. I'd discourage that in the future because more & more kids were raising their hands and they started getting too comfortable & loud. Although my 4-yo niece said she enjoyed the play, the 3 adults left in shock at how much of the play centered around the main character acting in defiance of her parents - throwing tantrums, stomping her feet, and displaying sneaky behavior. The parents & brother were pushovers who tolerated the behavior and only at the very end was there a lesson to be learned, but by then the kids were getting fidgety and the message may have been overshadowed by the 50 minutes of bad behavior. My sister said the play was not a very accurate depiction of the characters in the Pinkalicious books and we were sorry to have chosen this for our Mom's Day activity. However, I'm rating the attraction as average as I'm sure there are better productions shown here and we liked the intimate theater. You can buy candy and drinks in the lobby, ticket prices are reasonable at $10 for the hour, and the theater has its own bathrooms.
