The Yurt restaurant which is a part of the Solitude Mountain Resort offers a unique and adventurous dining experience. The journey begins at the Solitude's Village where guests snowshoe for approximately 20 minutes, through the lantern-lit forest leading to the restaurant. At The Yurt, the chef prepares a luxurious five-course meal right in front of the guests for a one-of-a-kind experience. The gourmet meal includes the classic American fare made with high quality ingredients for optimum flavor. Open to 24 people at a time, reservations are a must here. Ideal for winter vacations, The Yurt also offers gift certificates that make perfect Xmas presents. Open only during winters, a visit to The Yurt is recommended for all.
