We really enjoyed our experience at Magic Circle Players. The performance was very professional and engaging. We would certainly return again if in the area.

For the most part very good for small community theater. They might consider tackling plays that are alittle more thought provoking. However, given political climate they are probably wise to play it safe. I've enjoyed the productions and wish them the best.

Talent. Where did they find so much talent in an area as small as Montrose, CO? Not only that... presented in such a professional atmosphere. Musicals, dramas, comedies and not a dud in the lineup. Seating is in the half round, everybody gets a great view, just over 200 applauding at most performances that can sell out early!

We've attended several plays here. Every one has been top notch, both in the acting and the directing. Everyone is a volunteer. The board exercises an immense amount of quality control, and it shows on stage. I feel this is superior work for such a small community. It enjoys wholehearted community support--the long list of contributors is astonishing. I enthusiastically recommend season tickets. This is one of the highest levels of art in Montrose.

The level of talent in this community theater will amaze you. There isn't a bad seat in the house, with the seating arranged stadium-style in a near semi-circle around the open stage, which sits below the audience (or at the same level as the first & lowest row of seats). Musicals tend to sell out quickly, but more dramatic plays generally offer available tickets right up to the day of a performance. If you're looking for a wonderful way to spend an evening (or an afternoon if you prefer a matinee), Magic Circle Players are sure to entertain.
