Don't miss this one! Somewhat easy trail and the falls/swimming area was awesome. Not much water coming over in October but was still beautiful!.

I had read previously that teenagers hung out here. Being it was an early Tuesday morning, I thought we'd be in the clear.......wrong. When we arrived another vehicle pulled up with 4 young adults. They got out, walked to the upper overlook and began hollering, who's ready to party? Others from below hollered back. Not a good sign, but we decided, we are here, lets go see it. With a very short easy walk, we were able to view the falls from above. As we started to descend towards the bottom, a waft of cigarette smoke filled the air. Ruined my experience and we headed back to the car. Made a quick stop to the restroom which were well maintained. Would not recommend going out of your way to stop here.

Foster Falls is pure magic. The waterfall and crystal-clear pool feel straight out of a fantasy world, surrounded by dramatic cliffs and wild beauty. The rugged trails keep things adventurous, and with tons of campgrounds nearby, it’s perfect for anyone who wants to stay close to nature a little longer. Peaceful, powerful, and absolutely unforgettable. Definitely my favorite park.

So beautiful!! The hike to the waterfall is extremely short but very rocky and a tad challenging. Well worth the view! Water is very very cold

We enjoyed the overlook of the falls but were unprepared for the steep and rocky decline down the falls trail. Most of the young people hiking down were only wearing flip flops and swimming suits, which completely surprised my husband and I as we were in hiking shoes and had a difficult time finding steady footing. Be prepared for slippery, wet, sandy rocks. The lower falls seems to be a teen hangout.
