Tom Schultz lead us on a terrific 7 hour tour of Manassas battles 1&2. All 10 of us were very impressed with Tom’s insights into what happened at each location but also why each action evolved to its result. He added a learned perspective that gave important context to other important events from that era. Tom was informative in an entertaining manner and read the sense of humor across our group that made the tour even more fun.Our group included some well read civil war buffs and he added to their understanding of the politics and sentiments surrounding the Manassas battles. We would highly recommend Tom Schultz as a guide for any group as he tailored his presentation to the knowledge level of the audience.

Tom is the very best! We escorted a Vietnam Veteran friend of ours on a private Honor Flight with the specific purpose of leaving his combat boots at the Vietnam Memorial Wall. Tom's in-depth knowledge of the memorials that we visited was beyond impressive. Arlington Memorial Cemetary, USMC Memorial, WWII Memorial, Korean War Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, MLK Memorial, Supreme Court building, Capitol Hill, White House, Blaire House, etc. We saw a lot in a short period of time. We will be going back to DC to see other points of interest that we were not able to get to and we will definitely retain the services of Tom with DC Military Tours. He is the very VERY best!

Tom has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the Civil War Battlefields. He met us at the Visitor Center and took us on foot and in his spacious vehicle all over the battlefield. He described the action in detail and made us think about the tactics and strategy employed by the various commanders. He paid close attention to our well-being - it was a rather hot day! - and provided cold water and an excellent bag-lunch.I strongly recommend DC Military Tour!
