We stopped because It was close to our hotel and I travel with my dog. It was neat to see a hydro Dam still in use. There’s not a wholeLot to do here. There weee people fishing off the banks of the river and there is a boat launch. It was neat to see trains on the bridge over the river.

The dam is an amazing sight to behold. With all the rain lately, it was raging! There is an accompanying park and they want people to visit and linger. I took a picture of the “repair” center! How great is that! Every park should have them! Kudos Chattanooga/Tennessee for such an innovative idea!

We came down to the damn side there's a little Park some covered Pavilions you can walk fairly close up to the dam then we walked towards the Park area it was on a Friday so the rental place was closed for bikes and paddle boards. They do have little docks that are along the river we sat here for a while it was nice and peaceful good Breeze

I had the chance to fish Lake Chickamauga with some incredible fishermen. It was my first time on the Lake and my initial observations were very positive. I will definitely be back! The fishing quality was already established as areputation of large bass catches and good numbers in tournament fishing. I must admit that I did not have the luck that the pros had. Next year, I will be getting a guide as those that I spoke with who did not know the lake, retained guides and their fishing experience was incredible.
