Very nice and clean hotel, loved that it was a historical place (post office) repurposed as a hotel and private apartments.

This hotel is right next to the Amtrak station and on the edge of downtown, within reasonable walking distance to the Ordway Theatre, Science Museum, and other downtown points. It's an older building that's been very nicely renovated. Rooms are modern, comfortable, and quite large with huge ceilings. We've stayed here about six times when transferring from the Amtrak station (by Lyft/Uber or city bus) to the airport.

From start to finish our stay was fantastic, but to be fair I did call a month ahead to make a reservation. Everyone was very helpful and actually acted human, some hotels are very monotone. The girl who checked us in with the short hair and cute glasses was energetic and checked us in with ease, and afterwards the girl with black and blonde braids stood there and answered all of my questions (I apologize I don't know any of your names). We opted out of the valet but it absolutely would've been nice the next morning because it was raining, we parked otherwise in the Union Depot directly kitty corner. Getting to the room was a breeze if you read the signs and HOLY MOLY ceilings are high, which is especially nice because my BF is 6'6 and he didn't feel cramped in the slightest; he also compliments the king bed lol, the only thing was there was no notepad I could find to write a note to housekeeping thanking them for what they do and I hope they had a good housekeeping week! I am afraid we were the loud ones if there was anyone around us because I didn't hear a peep from anyone else, just the occasional truck being angry on the road and thunder. It was super cozy and the breakfast was really good as well, I definitely ate more than my fair share I feel (he would like to know what oranges you had in the fruit mix, if you know.) Thank you for an amazing stay!! 10/10 am going to stay here next year again for the Cigars & Baseball fundraiser.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt in St.Paul. The rooms were huge and clean. The front desk was very helpful and friendly. The valet worked perfectly, and the guys were awesome.
