tripadvisorWe used Lansky to get from LGB to Disneyland Hotel and back. Two days before we were scheduled to arrive we received a confirmation text message. When we landed, we received another text message with pictures of the vehicles and where to meet the driver. We had 2 vehicles: one for myself, my husband, and our son and a second for my elderly parents. My parents were in wheelchairs. We exited the airport and waited at the agreed-upon spot. Both vehicles pulled up. My husband met our driver and my mother met their driver. I helped my dad get up from his airport wheelchair to get into the vehicle. I was there with him helping him. He fell getting up from the wheelchair. He wasn’t even to the vehicle yet. Because I had his arm and was helping him I broke his fall and he did not get injured. Several people, including their driver rushed over to help him. We asked the driver not to help him get up and she listened. We got into our vehicles, did our grocery shopping and everything was great. Gratuity ($22 per vehicle) was included, but we gave each driver $20 cash because we had a pleasant experience.About an hour later the text messages began demanding that I help a member of my party (my dad) get into the car so he doesn’t fall again or they would have to cancel. I replied that I did help him. I was told that I did not help him, that the driver was loading luggage, and I was sitting in another car until the “old lady” (who I am guessing was my mother) told me to help him. I corrected them telling them that I was not in another car, that I was helping him, to which the reply was that I was misunderstanding their intention. I’m not exactly sure what their intention was other than to tell me to help my dad, which I already did. I’m guessing they were trying to protect themselves from liability, but lying about what happened is an interesting way to do that (especially since I’m sure there were video cameras outside the airport that had this all on video if I wanted to sue).I am not upset in any way that my dad fell. It was not their fault, nor was it ever suggested that it was. I’m upset by the untrue and accusatory text messages that I had to deal with on my vacation. The person who texted me was rude, lied, and very unprofessional. Referring to my mother as “the old lady” was just icing on the cake in the disappointment I feel about the way I was treated by them.
MoreHands down the best transport service. This is the second time I've used them (the first was in 2019). We were very careful with specifying that our daughter is 5 and requires a convertible car seat (not a booster) and the car arrived with one installed for our use. Our pick up was at SNA airport with drop off at Camelot Inn (across the street from Disneyland). Once they have your flight information they will know when to check in on you. Shortly after we landed at SNA I recieved a text message from the driver instructing me to tex him back once I am curbside and the pillar number that I will be waiting at. Start to finish very professionl and smooth. The car was clean, driver helped with luggage, and best of all NO SMELLS (car did not smell of anything, no air freshener, perfumes, cologne, etc.). Driver is professional, quick, courteous, efficient, no extra small talk or anything else, just gets you from point A to point B quickly and safely. They are pricey but worth every cent especially if you are traveling with a child/baby/children. We will continue to use them on every future trip.
MoreTERRIBLE SERVICE!!! I would rate ZERO STARS if that were an option. My family of 4 adults and 1 toddler were flying down to Disneyland and scheduled Lansky between LAX and the resort. I paid for the largest SUV available because two of our adults were senior citizens, one of which is a disabled veteran needing a cane to walk. I requested 1 child seat as our son was 4 years old at time of travel. The driver showed up in a mini-van with extra child seats and booster seats taking up the front passenger seat. The vehicle was now smaller than we requested and paid for, plus along with the front seat being taken up with their gear we were forced to pack tightly people into the back of the mini-van. We also scheduled and paid for a grocery stop as advertised on their website but their driver was clearly unhappy with this as we heard about it. Lastly the day prior to our scheduled return when I called to confirm pick up at the resort they instead just cancelled on us over the phone leaving me to locate a last minute shuttle option elsewhere. AVOID LANSKY LIMO DUE TO POOR SERVICE AND FALSE ADVERTISING!!! There are plenty of other quality shuttle services available as we found one last minute who did will where Lansky failed.
MoreLansky are a fabulous company! We were messed around with Westjet and flight cancellations but they were able to accommodate us with two car seats and totally different arrival/departure times. The drivers were super friendly, smartly dressed, punctual and even helped with the suitcases to the door of our Air B'n'B. Would highly recommend!
MoreSteve was amazing! He was very communicative about what to expect when we landed in LAX and was our driver for 3 separate trips! He was a very friendly and safe driver. I get anxious in the car and never felt a worry with Steve! Will definitely be booking with Lansky in the future if all their drivers are like Steve! They also provided a booster seat free of charge and offered to stop and get us food or coffee if we’d like!
