Adorable museum! Well worth the quick stop for some cute merch and fun collection. We loved it !! The potato head collection was a fun display I wasn’t expecting.

This little museum was great! We stopped on a whim and stayed for an hour. We ate at the restaurant and make a quick purchase in the gift shop. The employees were friendly.

Having found by chance of this museum, while traveling through the area, I decide to stop and visit: after all, this is probably the only potato museum in the world! A cloud of fried potatoes flavors envelops you as you enter the place. Admission of $8 gets you into a large room where you can see the history of potatoes on the walls, in pictures and text, always followed by the overwhelming flavor of fried potatoes. The one item of interest was a one minute film about potatoes harvest. You then reach the source of the smell: the Cafe! If your interest lays in loaded potatoes, you’ll be in heaven. Otherwise, you’ll feel cheated.

I grew up in Idaho so I am very familiar with Idaho Potatoes. This a small museum that has a lot of potato memorabilia, from Mr Potato head collection to potato chips from around the world that use Idaho potatoes. There was an interesting movie that tell about Idaho potatoes production. Worth a quick stop. The entrance was $8.00. They have a small cafe that feature potatoes.
