This farmstead museum is open for special events so be sure to check their web page calendar. They are not open on a regular basis but in the summer they have several ongoing programs.They also have some walking trails that are open even when the museum isn't. Be sure to dress for the woods and out-of-doors. They have a museum home and barn for tours when they are open. The house is well furnished and the docent who walked us through was very knowledgeable and answered our questions. They have lots of artifacts on display. They also have a shop if you are looking for any souvenirs. We were there for a program by a reenactor representing Alice Paul. The program was interesting and free. They even served refreshments. The house tour is low cost too. They grounds are interesting to walk
