Birds of Prey is set up nicely, it is easy walking through the area, does not take long to go through. They had a few birds to look at, and gave a nice teaching show with an owl. It was informative to see all the work that has been done through tis organization.

Wonderful time learning about the Birds of Prey, seeing the varieties living there and for us the grand finale of the 3pm center stage presentation with a trainer and Mr Oliver. The trainer had the bird off tether and chatted as she guided Oliver through his pages, flying over the crowd just overhead. Quite a show. Bring a picnic if you like, limited concession in the gift shop. Tables in park as well as spots to sit. Count on two hours to enjoy it all. Great work by this organization and excellent park layout and presentation. Multiple shows daily but see at least one.

We came here during our trip to Boise. It was an easy drive from downtown. The admission fee was inexpensive and we arrived just in time for the bird talk/show. We got to see Phoenix and learned all about red tailed hawks. What amazing creatures they are! The facility was small and very well kept. The people working there was very friendly and knowledgeable. The area where they keep and ambassadors was very nice and informative. We especially loved seeing the California Condors because we remember when they were critically endangered in the 1980’s. This experience would be good for any animal lovers, conservationally minded people and children. Thank you for sharing your love of raptors with us.

When in Boise, we always make a point of visiting the World Center for Birds of Prey. We’ve been there several times and it is always a fun and educational experience at each visit. Indoors there are beautiful glass cases of raptor exhibits, an art gallery of falcons, and several aviaries with beautiful exotic birds of prey. Additionally, volunteers will have an educational session with birds inside which is always a pleasure to watch.Outdoors, walk along paved paths to view birds of prey in huge aviaries. Don’t forget to check the website before you go to look at events at the center, as well as times for the flight demonstration in the amphitheater.

Wow- we loved this center! It’s the real deal! They are a bastion of information and have some super cool raptors that you will not see anywhere else! Check out the harpy eagle which was my personal favorite! The bird show was lots of fun and no two shows are alike! Don’t sleep on this place when in Boise!
