In 1974 Manuel and Socorro Orozco opened the first Super Mex Restaurant on First Street in long Beach, Calif. The restaurant became immensely popular due to its Super Mex burritos, combination plates and salsa. The company has restaurants throughout Southern California and Nevada. Super Mex Restaurant provides catering services and gift cards. The restaurant s menu features cheese and chips, Antojito combo, red pepper poppers, Mini-Chimis, Tampico wings, whole wheat quesadillas, chicken enchiladas and chicken bowls.
