The Irish Rover is the closest thing to an authentic Irish pub in Colorado. Located amidst the other trendy clubs, pubs, and restaurants on Broadway, the Irish Rover is extremely busy and certainly has the atmosphere and social aspect of Ireland's pubs down pat. The dark ales on tap are fairly priced, the wine and beer inexpensive but not cheap, and the food equally inexpensive, though not as expertly made as in other Irish restaurants in the area. The decor is still more American bar than European pub but the social atmosphere, soccer on screen, and chatty staff make for the most authentic pub experience in Denver. The Irish Rover is a great way to experience Old World hospitality with a New World twist.
