This small little station isn’t far from downtown Milwaukee, making it an easy walk. I used this station to take an Amtrak train from Milwaukee to Chicago on a weekday. It couldn’t have been easier to navigate. There is easy pickup out front if you’re being dropped by someone or awaiting your ride share. I would definitely use the Milwaukee Intermodal Station again.

Good comfortable seating. Well-spaced departures. Neat artwork : a beautiful mosaic over the amtrack counter made of all sorts of neat things. Large interesting windows. Downtown location. Nicer bus stop.

We took the Amtrak Empire Builder from Minneapolis/St Paul Minnesota to this station. When we arrived, my wife had to use the restroom and I was assigned the task of looking up our hotel reservation and getting ready to Uber it over. While I was distracted with my phone, one of the homeless guys came up behind me and quickly aborted his plan when I turned around and confronted him. Other than that, it is a nice station with lots of security and Amtrak Police, so I was surprised that this had happened. We left a day later on the Amtrak Hiawatha train and it was a really great 90 minute ride to Union Station in Chicago. Loved our stay here and much less expensive than Chicago. This station is also on the light rail loop in Milwaukee if you want to use public transportation.

Quick day visit from Chicago - coming and going it was clean and well managed. No problems at all - clean bathrooms a plus!

I arrived in from Chicago and found this to be a very nice station. It's not huge, but it has all the standard amenities. There are plenty of taxis waiting outside, but it's also within walking distance from the Baird Center and several hotels in Downtown.
