Bringing both new and old acts to Salt Lake, this grand building has been the place for performances (musical and theatrical) for decades. Its location in the center of the University of Utah may explain its popularity with the youth of Salt Lake, but mature residents have enjoyed the shows through the years, as well. Whether it is a Broadway musical or pop concert, this is the home for all. Prices vary depending on the venue, call the ticket office for details.

tripadvisorThe show was really good but, it was a sold out show and it was soooo hot on the top level everyone was sweating they definitely need to fix the ventilation or turn on the AC for a sold out show with no empty seats
Moreillumination isn't light, Sound isn't sound if it doesn't include a full gasp of silence while performing pure emotional strength; comic or tragedy; magic is the theatre that energizes our quest to live life fully... when it is the performance of a life time you will find it at Kingsbury Hall, our concert to the soul, fusing our wonderlust with art filling out dreams with life long memory, thank you...
MoreThe entrance is lovely, the lobbies are spectacular, red carpets I think. Do get there on time before whatever event you're attending. My son got free tickets for February 12, 2019 when Vicente Fox came to speak.
MoreBeen to this venue several times for rock/pop concerts. It might be good for some things, but for concerts it's really uncomfortable with bad views from everywhere except front orchestra. Seats are extremely small and close together, very old school. People are bigger/taller than they were 40 years ago or whenever they put these seats in. Very old venue. Floor slope is really flat, so even if you think you have pretty close seats, it's not a good view. Plus, there are no steps down in between rows, so if you stand to cheer you are standing on a downward slant which gets super uncomfortable. Acoustics for rock/pop music are horrible. Concessions for concerts are minimal, no alcohol or food, just candy and pop. Parking is a hassle, there is no lot close by. It feels like going to an assembly in an elementary school built in 1912. One thing going for it is that it is very clean.
