The pictures were amazing. They're a little expensive so we didn't buy any but just walking around was great. Each was a mixture of both beautiful and creepy, including the one that looked like the trees from Lord of the Rings. (Also, I wanted to note that I visited here in April 2019, but just now started reviewing again).

So, the Wife & I were in NOLA for my 50th in September of 2017. My Sister lives & works in NOLA & suggested we stop by here while we were all on the way to something else one night during the trip. More than a YEAR later, I still think about the insane quality of the still, captured drama of several of his giant works hanging on the wall. They had a little bar with wine in the back of the studio the night we went & we wound up talking with some really cool people as we waltzed around the studio. Just an overall fantastic experience & can't wait to go back to see that Artwork in person again. Awe inspiring.

If you're a night owl like me, you might find yourself drawn to Frank Relle's special kind of photography. It seems to all be done during the late night/early morning hours, while the rest of the world is asleep. There are some haunting pieces in his work, and one of my favorites is that of a cemetery and another is of a lone moss tree in the middle of a deserted bayou. When lit correctly, these photos take on another dimension and certainly tell a captivating story. There is something a bit mysterious about photos such as these, and they are right up my alley. When I was here for Dirty Linen Night, I was greeted by the gallery manager, who was quite friendly despite the crowd. The photos are well priced and could easily be added to any collection and find a spot in any home.

Best gallery on Royal Street. Exceptional photographs. New Orleans and Louisiana subjects. Hard to imagine how he sets up his shots. Finest museum quality.
