Scioto Audubon Metro Park Park ·$

Scioto Audubon Metro Park was transformed from a downtrodden industrial area to the beautiful green space that it is today. This park features a dog run, views of the Scioto River, a rock climbing wall, and a water tower. Take in the view of downtown on the deck of the nature center and explore the rest of the park on foot or by cycling.

Best park in the area. Massive walking trail and plenty of space. Outdoor climbing wall and obstacle coarse. Love coming here and it is free. Crowd size is never a problem and park rangers check things out often.

Get up and get out! Super fun “sightseeing” bike ride this morning starting at the Scioto Audubon Metro Park, through downtown. Then on to the turn-of-the-century Trolley District. A really cool, adaptive reuse complex on the near east side of Columbus. The site's buildings were built between 1882 and 1920 to serve public transit. Now the 3 acre site houses the East Market (basically a food hall…) and the Columbus Brewing Co. The property is on the National Register of Historic Places. TY OH

This is my favorite metro park! I love the trails and the view of the city. This is probably one of the nicest city parks in metro Columbus. Rather you want to walk the trails, play volleyball, climb the climbing wall, or complete the obstacle course there is definitely something for everyone.

After seeing many online reviews of the trails/views of this park, we were excited to stop here for a little hiking. The park is large and has big areas for picnicking, sports, and playing, has a large obstacle course and a large rock climbing area. The trails themselves were, surprisingly, disappointing. While pretty in some spots, they were not as scenic as many had eluded to. The bee and butterfly areas were also quite small. This is a very good city park but as scenic experience, not so much.

Great meeting place to hold most any kind of activity. Great location close to downtown as well as an easy Uber drive from most hotels. Plenty of free parking as well.
