tripadvisorLarge, authentic, well stocked, and inexpensive Chinese supermarket. Representative of neighborhood supermarkets found in China.
MoreTo be honest, I've only gone to the supermarket and Meianna bakery. There are many other shops here like a hair salon, clothing, and other restaurants. The supermarket is large and probably one of the cleaner Asian markets. You can probably find any Asian items that you're looking for here. The location is nice if you want or need to go to other Asian establishments on this side of town and easy to get to from I-205. Meianna bakery has good egg custard tarts which is the only thing I buy here because the other pastries and breads are not what I'm looking for. Prices at both places are very reasonable.
MoreThey have everything Asian food wise and everything else .. overwhelming but all you could ever want
MoreThere are few nice Asian market in Portland area include the famous Uwajima-ya. However, if you stay on the northwest side of Portland or in downtown, Fubonn shopping center is the closest and one of the biggest store to go.Supermarket has everything from fresh live fish to small appliances. For example, just fro soy sauce, they have over 10 kinds to choose from. I suggest go there right when it's open. Inside the shopping center, a nice Asian bakery with delicious pastries are great for breakfast. After going through the isles in the store for an hour or so, try Seafood Pot restaurant. You get a hot iron pot with lots of seafood and vegetables cooking in front of you for very reasonable price.
MoreThere are better oriental markets elsewhere in the region, but this gets the job done. Not sure about the meats though.
