MoreClark Gable would never stay here.This hotel was an absolute nightmare. From the moment you walk in, you’re hit with a disgusting smell. The elevator ride up only makes things worse, and the carpets look like they’ve been there since the hotel was built over 100 years ago — and never cleaned.The room itself was filthy: stains on the bed, crusty rugs, and hairballs in the bathroom. Completely unacceptable.Avoid at all costs.

MoreWifi is non-existent, television has basic channels, and there is no AC controls in the room. That being said, it is a beautiful building. Rooms are clean and have all the basic needs. Truly love that so many of the original features of the building were left in tact. Pool was under construction at the time we visited. If you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs or ask for a room with no one next to you because sound carries through the walls and vents. Staff was very friendly. Many walkable dining options nearby. Glad to have experienced a stay here
