Burton Barr Central Library Library

Visiting this library is certainly an experience. Will Bruder's open and spacious building affords a calming effect through the main floor's reflecting pool. Glass-walled elevator swiftly services five floors here. The children's area offers soft, comforting places to read while discovering special friends within bound covers. Other rooms of interest include the Arizona Room for historical information as well as the Rare Book Room. Looking for a perfect place out-of-doors to sit down with your newfound escape? Simply walk a short distance north to the Margaret T. Hance Park.

The female workers are pigs, not just physically either. And the young, overweight man with the black hair is not much better. Buy them all a calendar to remind them that it's 2025, not 1825, and that their views and labels for African-Americans were proven wrong about 150 years ago. Ironically, one of the students is also a minority and it's strange to hear her say the N-word so proudly. There were several other derogatory names she called African Americans as well, and the principal didn't seem to hear a thing. I understand you don't have to be a genius to do their job , but this place takes stupidity to a new level.1825 W Union Hills Dr, Phoenix, AZ 85027

Driving up to the building is impressive and entering it is bookworm's wonderland. I like the fountain that's inside which gives it a nice outdoor and calm relaxing feeling. A great place to get away from it all when you just want to read in an air conditioned building and staying out of the heatwave. A sanctuary where I can spend hours lost in a book.

My daughter and I go here once every two months and come home with 8-12 items every time. This is a very clean, modern, open library with very helpful employees and is always a delight to visit.

My mind was blown....neon stack signs, water pond below the stairs, glass elevators, colors, clever computer station pods, I spend hours photographing!
