Rhythm Room was chosen as one of the Top Twenty Blues Venues in the USA by Blues Review Magazine and has won Best Blues Club by local Phoenix periodicals countless times. This musical hot spot has featured headline acts by greats such as Deke Dickerson and Bob Margolin. Legendary guitarist Guitar Shorty, the man who taught Jimi Hendrix to play the guitar with his teeth, is a frequent performer. Top names in rock circles, from Deerhoof to The Spinto Band, also make this place their stop when in Phoenix. Pictures framed Blues legends cover the walls but the main attraction is always the stage. Great seats everywhere with tiny tables big enough for a couple of cocktails and a light bite. Sunnyside Barbecue is served Friday and Saturday nights.

tripadvisorFantastic blues and rock joint. Dance floor in front of the stage, with a small number of tables and chairs lined up on the sides. Friendly crowd, friendly servers, a deep selection of drinks at great prices. Great acoustics. The owner (Bob Corritore) will often play with his blues band, and it too is world-class. I wouldn’t think of coming to Phoenix without spending an evening here.
MoreThis is a great blues club! Beautiful mural of musicians on outside wall. This club has a great vibe! Nice stage, great lighting & sound! Owner gets National blues bands in there. Bartenders are so nice & mix a great drink. Highly recommend Rhythm Room!
MoreThis is a fantastic music venue. Not a bad seat in the house. Bar. Bob and the staff are great. Not expensive at all.
MoreThis is my sister-in-law's favorite dive bar. We went to see Marmalade Skies, a Beatles tribute band. It was at 4pm on a Sunday afternoon and the place was sold out to a bunch of old people like us!!! LOL They bartenders were friendly and efficient and handled the busy bar effortlessly! We were packed in for the show and loved every minute of it! Marmalade Skies sings Beatles songs with their own voices, not fake British accents. Great Show!!! We expected it to last an hour and a half, but the band and the crowd were having great fun and it lasted almost 3 hours!!
MoreThis is THE club to go to hear great acts in a smaller venue. Get there early, seating is limited, but you will remember any show you see here for a long, long time. It's blues, of course, but also other genres pretty often during the week- you just need to check the calendar. The owner is a professional, (many awards and well respected) musician. His birthday shows every Sept are amazing! I do bring earplugs just in case my seat is under a speaker... but I can handle that! If you are a large group, I would call ahead.
