tripadvisorWe had a great experience touring with Lauren. She was knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. We knew we made the right choice when, near the beginning of our tour, she suddenly pulled over after spotting a moose that we never would have noticed on our own. The highlight came later on with a grizzly on a bison carcass. Overall we saw tons of wildlife and had a great educational and fun experience!
MoreWe had the most amazing morning with Lauren! We saw so many animals in the most beautiful scenery. She knew where to look for the wildlife and knew a lot to tell about them. We were a party of two, and Lauren adjusted the time we had to look for the animals we found interesting. The scopes she had with her were very good. Without them we would have never seen the wolves and grizzlybears. The communication before, during and after the tour was correct and efficient. I would very much recommend In Our Nature! (The snacks and food were delicious :)
MoreOur trip with Cara from In Our Nature was fantastic. i have been to Yellowstone a number of times in the past, and I always thought Yellowstone was great, but this tour with Cara's background in Biology, her wealth of knowledge about geology and environmental science, opened my eyes to more than i could have dreamed. We saw wolves, grizzlies, mountain goats, literally hundreds of spawning cut-throat trout lining up to head up a stream. Entertaining , but also very educational.
MoreHad a great 9 hour tour with Cara. She was very knowledgeable and experienced with the park and the animals. She found a wolf and grizzly while we were not crowded with other tours. Vehicle was comfortable. Would highly recommend her guiding services.
MoreIf you love nature and believe that love is patient, kind, and not self-seeking, then you’ll be absolutely thrilled with your In Our Nature tour.I’m a wildlife photographer, and I spent two days with Lauren and Cara on a wildlife tour in early May 2026. What struck me immediately was how effortlessly they spotted wildlife while we were driving. They clearly know the park and its residents intimately. One of our first stops was at a crowded wildlife scene: a grizzly bear and wolves feeding on a bison carcass in the river. The excitement was palpable. When we first arrived, people spoke in hushed tones, though the area grew louder as more visitors gathered. Even in the crowd, Lauren and Cara respectfully avoided intruding on others’ space while still finding us an excellent viewing location. They kept their voices low, allowing us to stay immersed in the experience while also respecting the superior hearing of the wildlife around us.On another outing, their expertise led us to great gray owl habitat. We were fortunate enough to watch the magnificent bird fly past us. Although we could have continued tracking it, we chose not to disturb it further during nesting season. That moment captured the heart of the tour for me: appreciation without entitlement.Beyond wildlife, Lauren and Cara had deep connections with the park’s naturalists, biologists, and longtime locals. They genuinely cared about the people around them, sharing stories, conversations, and snacks along the way. It became clear that their vast knowledge came not just from study, but from years of meaningful relationships and experience. The stories they shared painted vivid and fascinating portraits of both the wildlife and the people of the park.I spent a few additional days in Yellowstone after the tour, and during those drives I realized how much shorter the roads had seemed with laughter, stories, and shared excitement filling the car. I was also grateful for how much I had learned during those two days—knowledge that helped me create incredible wildlife experiences on my own afterward.More than anything, what stayed with me was Lauren and Cara’s genuine respect and love for nature. Before the tour, Yellowstone felt immense and unfamiliar. Afterward, it felt as though they had introduced me not only to the wildlife, but also to the rhythms, stories, and people of the park—welcoming me, for a brief time, into their backyard.Thank you both for a genuinely unforgettable experience.
