We stayed at the Westin at the beginning of October and will never return.1.) The Air Conditioning in the rooms DOES NOT WORK unless there is movement in the room. As there is no movement when you are sleeping, we woke up during the night sweating!(Apparently, this has been an issue for MONTHS, but the guests are not told and it has not been fixed.)2.) We valet parked and needed to retrieve something from our car. We waited 25 MINUTES for the valet, and finally gave up. The front desk said there was nothing they could do, and we would have to wait for the valet to return from dinner!3.) Our family had individually booked several rooms for an event, it took us 30 minutes to check in because the front desk could not figure out the reservations.

We stay at this Westin 4-5 times a year. Their pillows suck but we keep some at our daughter’s apt across the street. Otherwise it has been good. But this visit was bad! Kept getting so hot overnight, and thermostat doesn’t show room temp, just what you have it set to (which is just for show; doesn’t work at night) They have the new system that TURNS THE AC OFF AT NIGHT because there’s no motion in the room. How asinine! Who wants to sleep in a hot room? The hallway and all public/staff areas are ice cold though so they don’t mind wasting money there. They did credit me some points and advised we can ask in future for engineering to come override it. Ok, but that is ridiculous!! Posting so everyone knows to ask for this and to complain. There are 2 other hotels on opposite corners from them; we may need to give them a try

I have stayed at this property before with no prior incidences. In fact, I left my room in the afternoon literally as the maid was walking in. I realised I Ieft my jacket in the closet along with a spare credit card and immediately called the hotel the next morning. The front desk staff were unconcerned and told me to complete a web link(!) They did not seem very concerned. I had given them my room number, time of check out. One month later and there is no response. It is appalling that they could not locate my jacket! It was hanging in my closet and I saw the maid as I left my room! Consumer beware! My mistake in trusting the hotel's system.

Stayed here for one night and was billed for two. Horrible customer service and downright dishonesty!

Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 5pm. We were provided another room with a faulty AC while our room was getting ready. We were offered free drinks, but later we found out that the drinks could only be before 10:30 or after 4pm.Our flight got cancelled and front desk was not able to help extend our reservation. Their solution was for me to call a 1800 number and try to make a reservation. It’s a nice hotel, a bit old, staff is nice but not very helpful.I don’t understand why this hotel charges a $30 extra per night as a destination fee. It sounds like a scam to me. The hotel is well located, very clean, and quiet.
