Reviews
tripadvisorWe stayed at the Villas, about a block from the main hotel. Friendly valets greeted us. Check in was perfect, thanks to Shaun! He's a great asset to the property. Met briefly with our concierge who provided information on the properties, surrounding areas, and activities we were interested in seeing near Sedona. First, the room we were given had a great golf course view. I asked for a quiet area, and we got it! Room was very nice and modern. We had the smaller deluxe room. Only window was the sliding glass door in the bedroom, which made for a dark main living area. We got over it. Washer/dryer, dishwasher, kitchen utensils and dishes, small stovetop, and a small fridge that had a tiny freezer with an ice maker greeted us. Table for 4 and pullout couch rounded out the living area. No oven, which would have been good to know before we went shopping and bought pizzas (wouldn't fit in freezer). Microwave was a convection, but can't cook a pizza. Bathroom was lovely. Kudos for including a lighted makeup mirror! King size bed very comfy. Huge closet and in-room safe, plus a dvd player in the living area was a nice touch. Patio furniture made a wonderful place for breakfast and to watch the sunsets. For quiet and a sunset view, ask for building 7 top floor. Plenty to do around the property--we utilized the relaxation pool (aka quiet pool). Activity pool with large slide looked like a fun time for kids.. Shuttle is available to take you to the hotel, shopping, or local restaurants. We had been out shopping, looking for a unique place to eat. Decided to try calling the concierge and Jenny recommended Sol. She even made reservations for us while we were speaking to her! Excellent recommendation! Finally, want to give a shout out to Jacob at the front desk for being so helpful and pleasant. He scored our chick-movie night flick for us, and we appreciated how great he was. My only complaint is the wait staff and hostesses at Deseo and Nellie Cashman's...but I don't want to tarnish the excellent service of the Villa staff with that review here.
MoreThe Villa was beautiful, overlooking the golf course. So many fun things to do around the Villas and the Hotel. Very professional staff and amazing service. Well worth the money. Highly recommended. Lots of outside place with fireplaces to hang out at night and have some drinks. So relaxing to spend the evening at the resort.
MoreAs always Westin's time share property never disappoint..we were driving back from Texas and I called owner services and luckily they had a one bedroom villa available..after traveling for so many days it was nice to stop by the market and make a nice BBQ..the kitchenette was well equipped and I was happy to actually see a washer and dryer..the only drawback was that Westins charge $45.00 cleanup fee which I find a bit steep for a one night stay. The beds are heavenly and the resort was very clean..the small unit was about 600 sq. ft. Separate living room and bedroom, each with its own plasma tv. I plan to go back there for a longer stay..
MoreWe can only hope the same staff will be at this most wonderful resort again next year. Starting with Lou Ayers whose meticulous attention to detail made our stay so enjoyable. He is professional, attentive and yet friendly and engaging. We have been coming to the Kierlands for three years and hope we can make it for 33!!!!!!!! Everyone there is at your service and so personable. Thanks to our poolside server Caroline whose bright smile makes the sunny days even sunnier. See you all next year!!!!!! Jackie and Larry Chesler
