This used to be a working fishing port with the fish market but now has been redeveloped as an entertainment area full of restaurants and with a couple of old ships permanently docked. It is fun to walk around and one can get a good meal here.

Beautiful place to mingle along the sea shore; drink; eat and relax. Many options to choose for drinks and for lunch or dinner….. a couple of vendors to do some shopping and just relax. Close by are also some local souvenir shops.

Very lively area with some restaurants and shops. There's a market and a museum too. Its a fairly quick walk from here to the Brooklyn Bridge. We stopped and got a drink and people watched for a while before walking across the bridge.

A cute and not so turistic place to visit in NY, in Lower Manhattan, this is a nice spot to do some shopping, have a bite, see some art and walk around historical buldings. At the entrance there is a Titanic Memorial Lighhouse, well worth to see. You can also visit an old print shop that is still operational, where the original print machine are still there. Totally recommended!!
