It’s a great venue. Every seat had a good view. The sound was superb, very clear and balanced. My only issue was, it’s cumbersome to get it and find the correct way to your seats. Ushers were great though, so it was a minor inconvenience at most.

Jurassic Park with the musical score removed and performed live by a symphony orchestra was delightful! Years ago I also attended a John Denver Tribute Concert at Luhrs. Great sound and seating.

We have been to several shows here, including bands, and comedians. This is a wonderful venue, and a great addition to our town located right next to Shippensburg University. It is very easy to access, and there is a lot of parking and it is handicap accessible. In actuality, my number one favorite thing about this venue are the employees. The staff is absolutely wonderful. They are mostly volunteers and obviously enjoy their job and I enjoy talking with the staff almost as much as I enjoy the show experience itself.

We saw ZZ Top last Saturday here (had seen them before) and when they finally came out, put on a great show with lots of energy. I don't know why ticket sellers don't or won't tell you that there is an opening act before the main act. Are they just trying to sell more alcohol or trying to create an audience for the lesser known act? Or both? I wish that these show promoters would realize that some people come from a good distance to be in their seats at the time stated on their ticket, and sometimes have to compress their whole day to do this, and not to listen to another act for up to 60 minutes before the main act comes out. I gave Merriweather 1 star last time because of this, and their opening act was a horrible joke. The openers this night weren't bad, I just wish that I had known so I wouldn't have felt like I had to break my neck and wolf my dinner down to get there. That being said, our seats were good (until the man in front of me started expelling gas nonstop) but luckily, we were allowed to move upward where there was good air circulation, so I was comfortable then. It was still a good view!

We had will call tickets for Nitty Gritty Dirt Band last weekend. We had been here before and it is a nice, not large venue with comfortable seats and a great sound system (saw Alan Parsons and Collective Soul before and they sounded great). It's pretty clean inside and they keep the traffic moving fairly well, without having any directional indicators, so it's a free for all when the doors are opened for showtime. We entered the building along with many others in order to get our will call tickets and I was blocked immediately by a tall man who stood in front of me and asked what we wanted. I told him out tickets were at will call (their box office is inside the entrance). He was rather tart with me and told me that will call is right there, meaning in between two sets of glass doors, which his body blocked me from seeing. I am only about 5'4 on a good day. I didn't really care for that approach and mentioned this to the very nice lady there who gave us our tickets. She told me that that was Jeff. I hope that a manager sees this, because Jeff isn't very nice to patrons, at least not that night. We drove for over an hour to get there, and if it weren't for customers like us, Jeff and his fellow ushers wouldn't have their jobs. I like the venue and the concerts that they book very much, but no one likes to be confronted upon entering the door as if they're trespassing.
