I have been to this venue several times now for various shows & have never been disappointed. There is such a variety of performances that meet diverse tastes. The acoustics are great! It is within 15 minutes of the Orange Circle where you can dine prior to the show. Best of all, the parking at Musco is convenient & FREE!

After reading the excellent prior review, we only have a little to add. The Musco Center is located on the Chapman University Orange campus and is easy to get to from the surrounding freeways. There are 2 parking garages on the campus and parking is free for most events - the parking pass was included when we printed out tickets at home. After parking, you walk over to the center and enter the lobby. In the lobby, they have drink and some snacks but you should eat before your performance if you need more than this. You can spend time in the lobby (which has restrooms) until the doors open for the show. All the people working here were very friendly and helpful. The center seats about 1,000 - floor and terrace levels - there are also some box seats that have tables - looked like they seated 4-6 people. They also have some wheelchair seating. We sat in the terrace center level in the first row. Loved the seats with no one in front of us (as the terrace is raised high up). We would definitely go back if there are performances of interest. The center holds a variety of different events (review the website for schedules) and the acoustics are very, very good. We loved the show - just wish it lasted even longer. Consider donating to the center to show your support and receive added benefits (member events, early access to tickets etc.).

Have you experienced a performance at the MUSCO Center for the Arts? Most would ask you where or what are you talking about. MUSCO Center is located on the beautiful campus of Chapman University. Yes, that small private university near the historic traffic circle in the city of Orange. MUSCO is an amazing venue. Check out their website and you will definitely find something to temp you. The center is beautifully designed but here is the real gem, the acoustics design is from the same firm and designer as the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. I recently took in a performance of the Chapman Orchestra and Wind Symphony. The hall has stellar sound and provides a premium listening experience. MUSCO Center for the Arts operates on a general season schedule. Balancing performances from the College of the Arts and professional rentals. I recommend looking at the season schedule and take the time to attend a performance in this venue. Parking is adjacent underground at the Lastinger parking structure or Barrerra parking structure (short walk to the MUSCO) I also recommend planning some extra time to have a stroll around the beautiful Chapman University campus. You can grab a coffee at Starbucks, a bite in one of the on campus restaurants or head down to the traffic circle area and find great dining there too. Taking in a performance at MUSCO should defiantly be added to your list of concert venues for Orange County.
