We really enjoyed our stay at Dimond Center Hotel. Rayne is so kind and helpful and was able to help me with a speedy check in and friendly attitude. Will stay again!! Love the rooms

The only issue that I had was the people upstairs stomping around all night for the three nights I was there. We were there for a medical procedure in Anchorage and need the rest. It was atrocious, like kids were jumping off of beds or something. I’m not sure what it was.Aside from that, the front desk was awesome. They were so friendly. Housekeeping was amazing and everyone was just happy and helpful. Everything was clean. A clean room and friendly staff. It’s everything to me, and I appreciate it. It was great. It always is, and we will be back. I’ll just be asking for a room on the top floor. LOL.

Breakfast was excellent. Room very comfortable. Staff were all great: Cordero, John, Monica, and Terra -- couldn't have been nicer or more helpful

Manika and Afi at the front desk were kind and wonderful! Always a smile and willing to help with all our questions. Group of 4 trying to get around Anchorage during high tourist season. They were a great welcome after a long flight to visit beautiful Alaska.

There were pros and cons to this hotel. The pros: - the woman who was at the desk the mornings of July 7 and 8. She was smiling and helpful. (I apologize I didn't get names) - the beds were super comfortable. - walking distance to the Dimond Mall and Walmart where we were able to get some last minute items. - the shuttle bus driver who got us from the airport to the hotel on July 7. - the breakfast ladies. They were very nice and kept the area neat and tidy.The cons: - the men who were at the desk the afternoon/evening of July 7. When I called for a shuttle I was told it had just left and would be 30 minutes. After 45 minutes I called again and was told we must have missed it and it would be another 15 minutes. So after waiting at the airport for over 1 hour we were picked up by the shuttle driver who explained it's been very slow and no, he hadn't been to the airport in the last hour. We didn't appreciate being misled by the man who answered the phone. The shuttle driver then offered to drive us into town to make it up to us. Once we got our stuff in the rooms, we went down to the front desk to alert the shuttle driver we were ready. The man at the desk told us the shuttle only goes to/from the airport and the driver shouldn't have offered that to us. Then he said he was going to have to tell the manager that the shuttle driver had offered that. I explained I didn't want to get him into trouble as he was just being nice, and we would get an uber. After 10 minutes, the man at reception said we could use the shuttle service to go into town. I said we had already ordered the uber who was only 2 minutes away and I wouldn't be rude to the driver by canceling last minute. - the breakfast offerings are a bit lacking.
