My wife bought me a gift card about a year ago and I have scheduled 1-2 massages each month. The staff and therapists are always friendly and professional. About a month ago I started thinking about cancelling my membership. Don’t get me wrong, the massages are always good~ just not fantastic! I decided to try one more therapist (Lori L) and I am now a believer! She is professional and knows what she is doing and enjoys her job! The massages have really helped my chronic neck pain and overall health!

I have had facials as well as massages and deep tissue massage here. I have enjoyed them all, but the deep tissue massage left my body sore, with a lot of broken capillaries on my upper back. The place is pretty pricey, even with a membership. They expect you to base your tip on the full price of the massage without a membership.

I have been going to Massage Envy for about 5 years or so and love my massage therapist! I always leave there incredibly relaxed, and I love that they offer 90 minutes and 2 hour massages. The staff is very courteous and friendly.

I booked an appointment for Valentine's Day with my fiancee and myself. We each got a facial and then a couple's massage. We had the facial first. Our appointment was at 5pm. We got there at 4:30. We filled out enough paperwork to buy a house before getting seen. I honestly think they should ask if we are here for pleasure or therapeutic purposes. We were there for pleasure, and honestly do not need all the questions about how often we receive facials and massages. My facial was with Jenae. She was good. They have signs everywhere showing 50 minutes of hands on time for an hour facial. However, she took me back at 5:08 and we ended at 5:53. That is only 45 minutes, not 50. Not a big deal, but don't advertise what you are not going to deliver. Facial was good. No complaints. My fiancee had a facial by Lisa. Again, no complaints. Massage...well, that is another story. I am not sure if this is because it was their last massage of the night or what, but it was not that good for either of us. When they came into the couples room, they said that since we were starting early, we were going to finish early. I didn't look at the clock, but I didn't think that was professional. Also, I got out of my facial at 5:53, got a robe on, and waited in the couples room for several minutes. How early were we really starting? We got a 90 minute massage each, are we really going to talk about a few minutes here?? My fiancee had Lynn. She said it was an ok massage. She was freaked out by this weird ear massage thing she did. She also said the massage just wasn't that good. I asked my masseuse, Monique to focus all her attention between my neck and lower back. I had 2 spots with knots in that area. She said the first hour would focus on those areas. Well, she did focus all her time on those 2 spots. When she asked me to flip 60 minutes in, the massage went downhill fast. The remaining 20 minutes were done with one hand at a time on my neck. There were several instances when she would make a fist and just hold it under my back/neck area and not move. I honestly wanted to get up and just call it quits. It was not enjoyable at all. Then she went to my feet for about a minute apiece, and then started slapping them. I don't know what this was supposed to accomplish. Honestly, the first 60 minutes were good, the last 20, not so good. Recommendations: Tell your masseuse you don't want to flip. Tell them to use both hands at all times, and tell them to keep moving. I felt like they were in a hurry to get out of there. Also, we came in dressed up, since we were going out to dinner after. I would recommend asking them to wipe you down after the massage so you don't feel greasy afterwards. I would not go back.
