It was my first time here and I came for a retreat. I was very impressed with the facilities and staff. Check in was a breeze. Desk staff explained how to get to my room, which was in the Assisi building. When I got there, I found the room clean, cool, and spacious. All the meals that were served were delicious. I appreciated the outdoor space that included the stations of the Cross, meditation room, Guadalupe shrine, walking paths. The acoustics in the auditorium and meeting rooms were excellent. The church was purposeful and I liked how the top windows allowed a view of the nearby mountains. The bookstore staff were friendly. Check out was also a good experience.

This is our 3rd visit here for Sunday Mass, the first time with the C-virus. And many did not need to wear masks. We did only while entering. A beautiful Mass and scenic Church. A few liberal thoughts were expressed but that did not diminish our worship. Peace.

We were introduced to the Franciscan Renewal Center a number of years ago while in the area for Easter break. They have outdoor sunrise and 10AM masses which are absolutely unique and joyous celebrations of Christ's resurrection. The choir and band are professional quality. It is a major attraction for Catholics. Traffic is literally backed up for miles to get into the area, but it flows and is well managed during Easter. Even so, parking is never a problem and there are no ingress/egress issues ever, during the rest of the year. When in Phoenix, we always attend here. The Franciscan's are a very positive and joyful order of priests.

Beautiful center with a beautiful 7:00 AM mass each weekday morning. We attended a few times as our schedule allowed while we were in town and we enjoyed the mass. We hope to return again next year.
