Tucked inside a historic bakery built in 1888, is a quaint shop of handmade collectibles. Filled with dolls, ornaments and knick-knacks, all proceeds from this "volunteer only" store go to support the Sister City Fund. This organization sends Tempe high school students abroad each year to experience new cultures, and it funds the teacher exchange with its sister cities. In return, the students then host visitors from other countries shopping here. It supports a worthwhile cause, so stop by, browse and help, as was once said, bring the world together...one friendship at a time.
