tripadvisorI really enjoyed the friendly staff at the gallery. The art was amazing and had very affordable prices. I asked a lot of questions and they had good information with no pressure to buy immediately. The owner of the gallery runs a blog and a podcast that I follow and enjoy as well.
MoreXanadu Gallery on Main Street is a small boutique shop with artistic pieces. We were shopping in town and browsed this shop. It was not crowded.
MoreFrom the moment we stepped into the Gallery Jason, the owner, made sure we felt comfortable and had enough information to experience the work at the Gallery. The building itself serves as a 'signature' on main street, no question, and the selection of artists, are diverse yet professional. I found several pieces to spend a little time with and Jason knowledgeably answered my questions about the artists' background etc. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and won't hesitate to plan another trip back.
MoreWe were quite fortunate to be able to walk through the gallery. The owner was there and was quite informative about different pieces we interested in. The gallery has quite unique artworks - all beautiful
MoreWe visited Xanadu Gallery on a Saturday in late September 2014 while taking a long weekend in Phoenix. Scottsdale is about a 25-minute drive from the Phoenix B&B where we were staying (ZenYard). We had done the Thursday night Art Walk in this area but went back on Saturday to visit the places that were closed during the Art Walk. Parking on the street was very easy and one gets 3 hours for free. Xanadu is a contemporary gallery, with some quirky but well done works and a number of well executed abstracts that we liked. The display space is a good size and well laid out. The person here was very friendly and helpful, and she made sure we had water to drink (a must for out-of-towners in the low-humidity 100-degree weather). We enjoyed visiting the gallery and saw a number of things we liked. In fact, we bought a small piece of sculpture which we had them ship to us.
