tripadvisorThis chapel on the campus of Case-Western Reserve University is a beautiful venue for the concert we attended. Nice acoustics. However, don’t park behind the chapel. We got a ticket for $25!
MoreIn 1973, Harkness Chapel was declared a Cleveland landmark a “haven” for the Music Department of Case Western Reserve. Harkness Chapel is the setting for concerts, operas, and recitals. It is one of the loveliest buildings on campus, featuring neo-Gothic architecture, antique oak and Georgia pine woodwork and Tiffany windows. It’s acoustically ideal for the performance of vocal and instrumental chamber music. Harkness Chapel was built to honor Florence Harkness Severance, second wife of the benefactor behind nearby Severance Hall; home of the renowned Cleveland Orchestra.
