tripadvisorHotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The workout facility was small but served its purpose while travelling. I thought it was a good value for the good quality of the hotel. I will stay here again.
MoreLooking for a place to stay on my return trip from LaCrosse, Wisconsin back to Denver. Called ahead to book a room for the night at the Courtyard by Marriott in Omaha. I was quoted the price of $147.00 for the night. I never received a receipt after checking out, so I checked my cc statement when I returned home. I was surprised to find that I was charged $201.00 for the night. That’s $54.00 in taxes and fees. I have since requested an itemized receipt from the hotel and am waiting for their reply. My advice to anyone traveling on a budget is to find a place that suits your needs and ask about hidden fees. Taxes can’t be helped, but many of the chain hotels hide their fees from the customer. It’s unfortunate, because the Courtyard is a nice place in a good location.
MoreThis was a rather unique itinerary. I booked here because of inclement weather, as I was fearful about getting to work the following day. Very nice hotel with plenty of amenities. Service was very good. My requests for an extended checkout and assistance with a lockout from my room were honored without any issues. Room was found to be mostly in line with Marriott standards. Some wear and tear noticeable in bathroom. However, toilet, sink, and shower were found to be cleaned to satisfaction. Some noise from hallway was noticeable throughout the stay, but remained within tolerable limits. It's great for if you are displaced from your house or need a place closer to your job. I'll never turn down hot shower and a bed away from the elements, especially under $100/night.As this is kind of located nearby to my permanent residence, I'm not sure I'd be a frequent visitor, but will recommend to any others.
MoreStaff tried to double-charge me for the entire stay at check-in; thankfully my bank blocked the second charge. I requested that my room be serviced on the third day of my stay and was initially told “no problem”. Five hours later, I called the front desk about my room only for the staff to behave unprofessionally and dismissive. After speaking to a manager, the head of housekeeping came to my room to explain that they only clean and service the room after three days (even if there is a request). I can’t recommend this hotel based on my staff interactions.
MoreWe stayed here for a family event in December. Seams fairly new and very clean. The rooms were very comfortable with plenty of room. Has a nice little food counter/bar. The lobby is very warm with a lot of space. Staff was excellent and very kind. We highly recommend this property!
