Reviews
tripadvisorThe hotel is a beautiful hotel, it is clean and spacious, The staff is very courteous and friendly and helpful. But there does need to be some upgrades done to the carpeting in halls of the rooms and also there was some mold in our bathroom whichI brought to the attention of the management. We were only there for two days so we dealt h with it, but that is also why I have given 4 stars and not 5! The location is very convenient to shopping, entertainment and restaurants. I would recommend this hotel.
MoreNasty nasty nasty! The owners entire family was eating what supposed to be guest food, nasty lil hands touched everything there, tub was falling apart, force thesd people out or to fix these places!
MoreNOT a GOOD place TO WORK FOR/BE EMPLOYED WITH. Trainer who trained me (STELLA) did not have culture competence. She was training another staff on my first day that she had been working with prior to me. She seemed overwhelmed, when helping me she informed me I could leave after a few hours of training. I asked why, she informed me because she was training the other staff & she was busy. Instead of telling me the truth. Fake people thank God they didn’t think I was able to learn.Training is an opportunity to learn. In a few hours I was told I could leave.I received a text today to not to return & I asked why. I was informed by Becky the operational manager that I seemed to have difficulty with learning the system. God forbid it’s my first day I’m learning/ relearning . I mean it’s just my first few hours of training. It is easier to identify someone as having a difficult time with learning a system than just saying we do not believe you are the candidate we currently need. Anyone can learn a system! But not in a couple hours. Manipulating someone to seem as though they are not able to keep up or learn during the first few hours of training is a right but it’s not right. Even if that was the case HOSPITALITY IS NOT ABOUT A SYSTEM ALONE. It’s about the EXPERIENCE, THE SMILE, SERVICE, THAT’S what matters! The system can be taught & learned. When observing a new staff member if you are there to just manipulate you should give ample time for them to learn how things are done, learn the culture, & duties. When the trainer got busy she said step back when I stepped back the operational manager Becky asked did I want to work on the computer I made her aware the trainer said step back because she got busy. I think it appeared I was doing nothing but I was doing what I was told. Workplace politics.Another time on my first few hours I was asked to step back I had no problem, the Korean guy who oversees things inquired about what I was doing as if I was doing nothing but I was stepping back as instructed. Manipulating someone into thinking one is not attentive or ready to learn or capable after a few hours of training shows low morals. Instead point out you are looking for something different & that you are incapable of proper training with patience. This is the WORST WORKPLACE EXPERIENCE THUS FAR. I wasn’t provided an opportunity but was provided an assessment of what I capable of when I have only been trained for a few hours. I have worked at hotels in downtown Nashville & across from the Nissan Stadium in Nashville. Very busy properties. I have received great reviews on my customer service,Flowers, tips, gifts, gift cards from my performance from guest. TripAdvisor reviews with high ratings, But then again this is a small property with limited views and possibly cultural barriers. Wouldn’t recommend for EMPLOYMENTNOT HONESTManipulativeLIMITED TRAINING STYLESMISLEADING
