tripadvisorI am extremely disappointed with how this incident was handled by Kierland Commons Security Manager, Mark Kea.After my vehicle was involved in a hit-and-run in the Kierland Commons parking lot, by a member of the cleaning staff, I left Mr. Kea a voicemail on Saturday, July 18, requesting a return call regarding the incident. Unfortunately, I never received a response. As someone who works at Kierland Commons, I expected a higher level of professionalism, communication, and concern. Instead, I had to flag down an employee driving a golf cart just to locate the security office myself. The lack of follow-up and assistance during a situation involving property damage is unacceptable. Additionally, the parking lot design is extremely narrow, making it difficult to navigate safely and increasing the risk of accidents.I hope Kierland Commons takes both customer and employee safety more seriously and improves its response to incidents like this in the future.
MoreLots of shops, so that's good. No public restrooms, which is a problem if you're planning to be there long. Map on website broken and does not load. Also most benches in the sun, not shaded.
MoreIf you like to shop this place is for you. Lots of stores and restaurants. Very clear area and pretty atmosphere. Was not crowed at all. Grabbed a coffee at La La land and walked around. Perfect match.
MoreWe spent two nights here as a family. Overall, we had a great experience. We booked a casita with pool view. When we got to our room, it was a first floor room with a view of a metal fence and shrubs. Even if we could see through it, the pool wasn't even on the other side of it, it was down a ways. I called the front desk and they re-routed us to a pool view room that was in the main building - slightly smaller room, no trundle bed. In exchange for the lesser category, they gave us a $200 resort credit. After we got through that little issue, it was a delightful stay. Our son loved the Flow Rider where he got to simulate surfing. He did it twice during our stay, and both instructors were really good and encouraging. We particularly enjoyed the location to Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarter, with plentiful restaurants and shopping. It is close enough to walk, but the hotel will also shuttle you, all you have to do is ask. And, the titanium breakfast was impressive. It was the buffet in the the restaurant.
MoreGreat place to shop and eat while still enjoying the beautiful weather in Phoenix. Beautiful and clean landscapes. Lots of shops and restaurants to choose from.
