This is a very small preserve located on Tamiami Trail. No dogs, drinking, cycling permitted. As we were walking on the boardwalk, we spotted so many gopher tortoises. Visitors are not allowed to feed or touch the tortoises. At the end of strolling, you can write on the blackboard how many tortoises you spotted and the time you spotted/visited. There's no fees to go here.

The boardwalk closes at dusk. We went in the evening around 7:00 when it was cloudy so it was nice and cool. The trail is a boardwalk over land (no water) and it is a good length (not too long, not too short.) We saw several tortoises and a few bunnies. Pretty nice place to stroll around in the evening.

Love coming here to take a walk in the middle of the day and take a few minutes to reset from the stress of being a real estate agent. Beautiful plants everywhere and you will often see tortoises. This is located close to my domain realty office on Naples so very convenient. Preserve is well maintained and there are always friendly people to strike up a conversation with. My kids always have the best time coming here as well.

Hidden and virtually unknown is this amazing nature preserve in the heart of town. It's not a botanical garden as such, but the preservation of natural plants and small wildlife in a small park setting with free parking, free admission, and a boardwalk for viewing. The biggest find was all the gopher tortoises who reside throughout the preserve and just a few feet away. Makes a great stop on any visit to Naples.

The Naples Preserve was a surprise discovery for us when we were in Naples. It is across from Coastland Center and next to US-41. It is a nice place to walk a boardwalk in a forested setting. It is also a turtle preserve. It is a great place to go to get away from the stress of the day. We enjoyed our visit and would go again.
