This bar serves up genuine German cuisine. Remember the movie Murphy's Romance? They have the bar from that film at this cute little downtown Glendale cafe. Choose from a full selection of schnitzels, sauerbraten, and wursts, plus a comforting German-style potato salad and what local food critics have said is the best strudel in town. Most dinner entrees, beers and wines are quite reasonably priced. Also if you find yourself here during Oktoberfest, the restaurant brings in an authentic German band each year that is actually from Bavaria.
