Glendale Main Library is nestled within the sanctuary of the Glendale Xeriscape Garden and is a popular local library. The library boasts an excellent selection of literature, magazines, public documents, newspapers, periodicals, DVDs, videos, movies, e-books, and much more. The library is spacious and very well-maintained and offers a beautiful and serene setting for a couple of hours of reading or study. Don't be surprised to see a few peacocks and other exotic birds wandering around the library. The staff are professional and extremely helpful and are always on hand for any questions you may have.

The so called security gaurds walking the around the library like Ge·sta·po. Just recently had a bad experience with a black female so called security Ge·sta·po. This library is a very poor place you would waste your time in .
MoreI liked the Glendale Public Library. They have peacocks and they are friendly. They also have a lot of cacti, they call it the Garden Cacti There were palm trees as well. The library are really good. They know what to do. Books, magazines, music,movies and more. This is a must see!Peacocks with books!
MoreThey have classes for kids and adults to learn different things from reading programs to arts and crafts to cooking, etc.--all free and taught by professionals. I have gone to many of their programs and enjoyed almost all of them during the hours I was there. All you have to do is go and be a Maricopa County resident. Join the Glendale Library system, get on their mailing lists and enjoy these FREE and worthwhile classes. And the people who work for this library system will bend over backwards to assist you in whatever you need. I just love this library myself--even tho I don't live in Glendale.

MoreThe Glendale Public Library is the Library that every other library should aspire to be. Beautiful xeriscape gardens surrounded the outside, with plenty of parking. The library has everything you expect from a modern library, and its clean and quiet. The staff that works here enjoy their jobs and is shows.
