I had a great stay at the inn the staff was kind and accommodating. I was traveling alone and felt totally safe as a younger woman being here. The location was great for walking around Mill Ave, ASU and there is a Whole Foods and CVS on the block. The room had everything I needed, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice and clean. The owner was very kind and you could tell she truly cared about the guest and their experience. I would stay here again!

Everything about University Inn, in Tempe, AZ, is phenomenal: the rooms are so cute & clean, the beds & pillows comfortable, & the staff so kind. It’s right off of Mill Avenue, however with the AC running (or, during the winter, with the heat on, I’m sure), you can not hear any road noise. Highly, highly recommend staying here, & we definitely will stay here again. The lower price/night, combined with how cute & comfortable the rooms are, & how personable the staff is, is all so much better than the huge high rise hotels just down the street.

Decent budget hotel located in the heart of downtown Tempe. Room is very nice the only downside is no microwave,but that’s ok because you’re in walking distance of some great restaurants,and another knock is the noise from the traffic downtown besides that it’s a great hotel to stay in if you want to be downtown for a decent price!

Looking at the place you might have second thoughts about staying there. But were glad we took the chance and booked a room. The room looked newly remodeled and very clean. You can also keep an eye on your vehicle. Slept very well. I highly recommend this place.

Second time I've stayed here, with the first being in 2018. Nice convenient location in walking distance to a lot of bars and restaurants. Very clean, and friendly staff. There is a decent amount of road noise especially on Friday and Saturday nights, so be aware of that. Recommend a sound machine and/or ear plugs. Also the pillows in our room were all quite thick, which isn't the best for a back sleeper. Otherwise a great hotel at a better price than anything else nearby.
