It had been a few years since I stopped in, but it's still great. I love their huge selection of socks. It's a great place to buy stocking stuffers for Christmas (pun intended), which I'll probably do when December rolls around.

There is not a sock store in heaven; it is in Portland, Maine. Such a tremendous selection of socks for everyone with feet. It was like a sock museum, but you could buy the exhibits. I nearly refinanced my home. I loved it; you will too.

I've never seen a shop quite like this. Hundreds and hundreds of sock patterns for men, women, and kids that include political figures, famous musicians, pets, storybook creatures, actors, writers, famous paintings and other art, special occasions, sports, nature, food and drink, scenic views, etc. Great customer service.

Great shop filled with something for everyone. All types and styles of socks, including some very funny ones. Extremely friendly and knowledgable salespeople. Definitely worth a visit.

Stumbled across the Sock Shack on our way to the Portland Museum of Art from our cruise ship from the UK. What a delight. It was packed with socks of all shapes and sizes and for all occasions. If you're looking for something special, unusual or amusing in the line of socks, this is the place for you. We enjoyed looking around and making one of our very few souvenir purchases with advice from a charming and helpful assistant.
