Wish it would close down. It’s poorly managed, poorly maintained and staffed.Bulldozer it down and put up affordable housing with green space.

We were visiting from out of state, and with nothing else to do in the area we decided to look up the nearest movie theater. Cinemark 12 was located adjacent to mall. Unfortunately, there is no outside entrance to theater...you must go thru mall. Problem is, we couldn't FIND the entrance to mall. That should have been the 1st sign. We found the door- then walked seemingly forever until the theater entrance. What creeped me out was the fact that it was Saturday night at 7pm and there was not one person walking thru or shopping for that matter! No shoppers, no security guards. As if we were in a horror flick, ourselves. You could have driven an SUV thru the mall center at a high rate of speed without hitting a single thing. No exaggeration. Theater was nice, but once the movie let out, we basically did a fast paced walk back thru the mall to the pkg lot.

Part of the dying mall culture, this modestly-sized local mall once covered just about everything (with nearby strip malls finishing things out). Now only the strip malls are thriving. Outdoor parks of multiple shops arranged nicely do better than even the nicest mall. This was never that good of a mall. But it was what we had, and we got used to it... and then, one by one, all the stores disappeared. Blame Amazon all you want, but the Enfield Macy’s was always trashier than the West Farms or Holyoke ones. The food options at any other mall were better. The mall itself was dark and creepy in the wings, open and spacious and bright in the center. Now it’s mostly empty stores with their front windows advertising the few tenants still sticking it out. The Target and Bath & Body Works deserve relocation. Bulldoze the rest

there is not much left of this mall other than Target, Panera, and the movies. Think this mall has been sold. So much has left--Sears, Macy's, JCPenneys, Ruby Tuesdays, a few smaller food places. At one time this mall was filled with busy stores. I often preferred to go to this mall rather than the larger holyoke mall. Too bad it has changed. In its day it was busy and easy to maneuver compared to the larger malls.
